When Montgomery-base creative and immigration lawyer Salem Afangedeh went into practice with her father, who was based in Africa, the company took on a more global presence. They were looking for a refreshed image that could compete on a worldwide scale.
Brief: Afangedeh Global was looking for a brandmark to unite their company though they were a world apart. They wanted something which spoke to their professionalism and care for their clients. Also, ensuring the appropriateness of the logo didn’t cause any sensitivity in either country.
Outcome: The outcome was a blue monotone combination logo with the company’s initials taking on a slightly abstracted form. The rounded “G” of the initial mark is representative of the globe. It also acts as the crossbar of the “A.” The blue color palette was used for its ability to express safety and its appropriateness of use in the US as well as Africa. The final mark resulted in a polished, professional logo that can compete in either country.
